Summary of Donations to Bruce Marbin Memorial Musical Park (Open)
Bruce lived music. And spent his lifeblood guiding children. And, in his last years, was an activist for the needs of people with physical disabilities. He also loved nature, and valued community. We are combining these passions of his into a donation of an accessible musical instrument to one of the parks in Corvallis, which was home to Bruce and Jana for 30 years. We are still finalizing the choice of the musical instruments and the park in Corvallis where it will be installed, but the instruments will be similar to this Imbarimba. Join us for the Bruce Marbin Memorial Celebration & Contra Dance Fundraiser With Callers Stacy Rose and Karen Olsen, and the Bruce Marbin Megaband! Saturday, July 9th, 2016. Potluck and Ceremony 5:30pm Contra Dance 7-10pm First Congregational United Church 4515 SW West Hills Road, Corvallis, OR 97333 Bring a potluck dish to share. Per church rules, no alcohol please. $10-$20 suggested donation, our goal is $5,000
