UPDATE: Bruce lived music. And spent his lifeblood guiding children. And, in his last years, was an activist for the needs of people with physical disabilities. He also loved nature, and valued community. We are combining these passions of his into a donation of an accessible musical instrument (similar to a xylophone) to one of the parks in Corvallis, which was home to Bruce and Jana for 30 years. Goal: $1,000 & Raised: $3,819 Bruce and Jana received invaluable services, equipment, and support from the ALS Association. We would have had a much harder, scarier time without it. We hope that other PALS (people with ALS) will be able to get the same benefits, until the researchers can find the prevention and cure.
